It’s way more fun than I expected.

open-minded : 편견 없는, 열린 사고의

He’s pretty open-minded, so he’s cool with whatever we decide.

Well, it's like.. it kinda felt like there was some racial bias.
글쎄. 뭐랄까.. 인종 편견이 좀 있는것 같아.

When I go to the meetup, people seem a bit uncomfortable. It feels like they're avoiding me.
모임에 가면 사람들이 좀 부담스러워해. 피하는것 같고..

Ah, I get that it feels like bias, but I think here might be a bit different from the U.S.

Korea's been pretty ethnically homogenous for a long time.
한국은 꽤 오랫동안 단일민족 이었거든.

It's more about awkwardness with foreigners than bias.
편견이라기보단 외국인과의 경험이 없어 어색해 하는거지.
awkwardness : 어색함, 서투름

His awkwardness made everyone laugh.

It's more about A than B : B보다는 A이다 (A가 더 큰 비중을 가진다는 의미)
For me, It’s more about having fun than winning.
나한텐 이기는 것보다 재밌는게 더 중요해.

multicultural : 다문화의, 여러 문화가 섞인

Living in a multicultural city will broaden your mind.
다문화적인 도시에서 사는건 너의 사고를 넓혀줄거야.
broaden : 넓히다
fade : 희미해지다, 점차 사라지다

The colors in the photo have faded over time.
사진 속 색깔이 시간이 지나면서 희미해졌어.
over time : 시간이 지나면서

After years of traveling, I just want to settle down in one place.
